Whatever degree of involvement you want to have in your project, we always feel it is important to spend the time to get to know you and to build a relationship.

By doing so we ensure that our designs reflect the personality and lifestyle of each individual client, producing beautiful surroundings, whether traditional or contemporary, in which you feel at home.

Our showroom in Edinburgh’s New Town houses an unrivalled range of pattern books and an extensive library covering every aspect of interior architecture and design. It goes without saying that this includes all the major fabric, wallpaper, flooring, furniture and lighting companies, but we also seek out those more specialist suppliers from around the globe that enable us to bring something a little different to our designs.

With our CAD expertise our designs can include specially commissioned furniture, bespoke bathrooms and custom-built kitchens. And of course the design, make up and fitting of our curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings is of the highest possible quality.

Ampersand are...

JackieJackie is Ampersand’s Design Director and has worked in the industry since 1988 forging a reputation as one of the country’s leading designers. This is reflected in a large and loyal clientele who appreciate her flair, attention to detail, and insistence that design has to work as well as inspire. Her views are certainly forthright but always delightfully expressed!

Donna Marie Donna Marie is our resident CAD whiz and her wonderful sketches form the starting point for many of our designs and schemes. As you would expect she is adept at pulling together fabulous designs to meet any brief – but if you want to inject a funky twist she’s your girl!

With more than 15 years of business experience Callum is responsible for the small matter of running the company. The big picture is his primary focus. But with overall control of the structural work (or, as the design team technically refer to it, “the messy stuff”) he is often found zooming in on the nitty gritty on site as well.

Paddy Clear eyes and glossy coats may be much in evidence in the showroom but we would like to think that Paddy has cornered the market on damp noses!
