With our own project management and joinery team, site manager and workshop we have complete control over projects ensuring that every element is carefully scheduled, co-ordinated and executed.
We have also spent years building a talented team of architects, trades and craftsmen who we work with on a regular basis. And as registered contractors they are all directly employed by us - leaving you with only one point of contact to think about, Ampersand, and we take care of everything else.
We are therefore ideally placed to handle larger projects where multiple trades are required, from hand-built kitchens to the total reconfiguration of rooms and buildings, as well as designing and manufacturing specially commissioned pieces of furniture.

With more than 15 years of business experience Callum is responsible for the small matter of running the company. The big picture is his primary focus. But with overall control of the structural work (or, as the design team technically refer to it, “the messy stuff”) he is often found zooming in on the nitty gritty on site as well.
Mark is our Operations Manager, and he certainly is the perfect man for the job. As well as his BAI in Civil Engineering from Trinity College Dublin he has received an Advanced Diploma in Spatial and Interior Architectural Design. His experience ranges from civil engineering to managing kitchen installations and he also shares his knowledge by lecturing to students in Computer Aided design.
A thoroughness bordering on the obsessive is a real virtue in a Project Co-ordinator and Emily has it in spades! Her scheduling of all the relevant trades ensures that our projects run smoothly and on time – which is no small feat. And we are delighted to report that outside working hours she reverts to her normal relaxed and carefree persona.
Robert is a highly experienced and expert craftsman who has worked on a vast number of major projects over the years: if it involves wood then Robert is your man! His intimate knowledge and understanding of the other trades involved in larger developments makes him the perfect Site Manager.
Robert's talented team of craftsmen include John and Andy whose cabinet-making skills are much in evidence in our commissioned pieces, Graeme, whose hands on experience is invaluable on site, and Chris, who brings a practical yet imaginative approach to all of our projects. As many clients have remarked, they are also all a delight to have in your house!
