Happy New Year!
Last year was an exciting year in the continued growth and development of Ampersand.
Of course, front and centre were the fabulous projects we completed, designing hugely creative interiors to turn properties into real homes. In the words of one lovely client: “Ampersand have taken every care to ensure that we are at the centre of any scheme and that our vision is articulated into spaces that truly feel like home and incorporate our personality, lifestyle, memories and treasured possessions.”
We also welcomed new faces to the Ampersand team, bringing further international experience and building on our architectural skills. Jackie and I believe we now have the strongest design team, with the broadest range of expertise, that we have had in our 30-plus years at the forefront of interior design in the UK. You can catch up with the whole team here. Obviously, the most important addition was little Florence, Bronte’s very own mini PA!
While a happy client will always be our own measure of success, we were delighted to also appear as a finalist in the Herald Property Awards and to be awarded the Best Luxury Interior Design Studio in the Scottish Enterprise Awards.
The establishment of our London design studio in the heart of Chelsea’s design district was a major high. Not only has this made the running of our projects in the south so much easier, but having a permanent London base means we have been able to bring the Ampersand magic to a whole new cohort of happy clients!
As ever, our thanks go to our wonderful clients without whom we would not exist; our talented network of skilled trades and artisans who help us bring our vision to reality; and, it goes without saying, to our very own crack team of designers.
