Starting afresh in a modern penthouse apartment can be a daunting challenge. Our clients were keen to embrace contemporary living, making the most of the light and space, but avoiding any of the blandness that can result from an overly neutral scheme. Striking the right balance between modernity and comfort was vital. Made to measure furniture and furnishings were combined to make the most of the apartment’s proportions – both in the large open plan living areas and also smaller spaces which were cleverly adapted as a consulting room and study – while beautiful bespoke cabinetry cleverly maximised the available storage.  The outcome is a luxurious but welcoming home with a thread of soft but rich colours woven through a subtle, elegant background palette.
