Whisky Heritage

Part of Victor and Carina Contini’s culinary empire, Cannonball House is an historic building next to the world-famous Edinburgh Castle. The challenge was to create a new whisky bar that ticked all the boxes for the modern day whisky connoisseur while exuding heritage. Working alongside a specialist contractor, Ampersand created a comprehensive design – from the bar configuration, through fixtures and displays, to a decorative scheme incorporating a copper ceiling as in a nod to a traditional whisky still.
